TAX STAFF POSITION
We are pleased to announce that we have an immediate career opportunity for an Experienced Tax Staff to join our firm.
ABOUT OUR FIRM:
Kushner LaGraize, L.L.C. is a well-established, mid-sized, certified public accounting firm with approximately 60 employees, located in the Greater New Orleans area. We are a successful firm that specializes in serving closely held companies and high net worth individuals. We provide a full spectrum of professional services including Tax Consulting, planning and preparation, Audit and Attestation services, litigation support services, general accounting services and numerous other specialized/niche services. We have over a 30 year history of progressive growth as a result of our excellent client service and most of our growth is generated through client referrals.
OPPORTUNITY:
As a Tax Staff, you will be required to perform basic accounting services, prepare work papers and appropriate supporting documentation, prepare compiled financial statements and prepare various tax returns. Applicant will enjoy hands-on opportunities that will enable you to achieve personal and professional goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform basic accounting services
- Prepare workpapers and appropriate supporting documentation for tax engagements.
- Prepare compiled financial statements and various tax returns.
- Conduct research on less complicated issues.
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 to 2 years of public accounting experience.
- Licensed CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and accounting software is preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
