Christine K. Brox, CPA

Christy started her career in public accounting in 2003. Christy joined the firm in 2005 after two years at a national firm. As a partner, Christy specializes in federal and state taxation. She provides tax planning and compliance services to individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Christy assists high net worth individuals with estate, trust, and gift planning. In addition she works with entrepreneurs on matters related to entity structure and formation. Christy provides tax services to clients in a number of industries with a practice concentration in retail, real estate, healthcare, and professional services.

Craig M. Fabacher, CPA

Craig M. Fabacher, CPA

Craig started his accounting career in 1984. As a partner, Craig specializes in the taxation of individuals, partnerships, small corporations and trusts. He has extensive experience assisting clients with strategic tax planning and IRS controversy and audit assistance (he is a former IRS Agent). He is a guest lecturer and speaks professionally on topics related to taxation. He works with clients on estate, trust and gift tax planning. Craig provides tax services to clients in a number of industries with a practice concentration in healthcare, law firms, real estate, professional services, contractors and high net worth individuals.

Douglas W. Finegan, CPA

Doug started his accounting career in 1981. After several years with national firms, Doug joined Kushner LaGraize in 1988 and has been a partner since 1995. Doug serves clients in a variety of areas and has provided business solutions to clients by offering consulting, tax compliance and planning services with special expertise in accounting and assurance related services. He has qualified as an accounting expert witness in Federal courts and provided expert testimony at trial.

Ernie started his career in public accounting in 1980. Upon graduation, he accepted a position in public accounting with a national/international CPA firm. In 1986, he joined Kushner LaGraize. His extensive experience includes audits of closely-held businesses, non-profit organizations, retirement plans, and governmental units. He has served clients in numerous industries including government, non-profit, restaurant, wholesale, hospitality, construction and manufacturing. He also provides consultation in internal controls, recruiting and business planning.

James started his career in public accounting in 2004. James has experience in partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, individual, non-profit, trust, gift, and estate tax matters. James provides compliance and value added consulting services to family and closely held small and mid-size businesses. In addition to tax compliance, he specializes in business and individual tax planning. He has worked with businesses and individuals in numerous industries including medical, legal, engineering, restaurant, tourism, and film.

Will began his career in public accounting starting with the firm in 1991. His background includes extensive experience with tax planning and compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts involved in numerous industries. Many of Will’s clients are closely-held and/or family businesses and their owners. He also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service as well as state and local tax authorities.

Amy started her career in 1999. As a partner, Amy manages a diversified client base focusing on clients in a number of industries including real state, residential, professional services, manufacturing, and not-for-profit organizations. Her background includes income tax compliance and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates, and not-for-profit organizations. She represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service as well as state and local tax authorities.

S. David Kushner, CPA, CRFAC

David started his accounting career in 1974. As one of the founding members of Kushner LaGraize, he has extensive experience in tax planning for corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. His daily work includes tax planning for high income individuals and closely-held businesses, litigation support for criminal, civil and marital dispute cases as well as consulting on valuations of closely-held businesses. He has also qualified as an expert witness in both Federal and Louisiana courts and has provided testimony at trial. David has been a frequent lecturer at various organizations including Tulane University, University of New Orleans, Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Organization, Louisiana Restaurant Association and J.P. Morgan/ Chase.

Alan started his career in public accounting in 1998. Alan specializes in federal and state taxation. In addition to working with high net worth individuals and closely held businesses, he serves clients in a number of industries including medical, legal, engineering, restaurants, tourism and real estate.

Wilson A. LaGraize, Jr., CPA/CFF, CRFAC

Wilson started his career in public accounting in 1972. As one of the founding members of Kushner LaGraize, Wilson has over 46 years of experience in public accounting and auditing. He has extensive experience in Litigation support services for civil and marital dispute cases, business liquidation and business valuations. He is a certified forensic accountant and has experience in audits of closely-held businesses. He is also qualified as a court appointed accounting expert in federal and state courts. He is a consultant in tax planning for corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. He is qualified as an expert witness in both Federal and Louisiana courts and has provided testimony at numerous trials. He has served in the capacity of a court appointed liquidator and receiver several times in several state courts. Wilson has been a frequent lecturer in the areas of damages and forensic accounting at LSU’s EJ Ourso School of Business and various other organizations.

Michelle started her career in public accounting in 2001. Her effective problem solving, leadership and communication skills strengthen her ability to perform, review and supervise client engagements.As a partner, Michelle provides ongoing assistance to management as well as overseeing engagement planning, fieldwork, and financial statement presentation. She specializes in audits of governmental entities and has experience auditing Employee Benefit & Pension Plans, Broker-Dealers, professional service, nonprofit and transportation entities.
